More wasted time
Been doing a whole lot of nothing recently.
Yesterday, I got my copy of Chris Morris' "My Wrongs #8245-8249 & 117" DVD which is a short film based on one of the stories from the Blue Jam album which I've never listened to. The film is very strange as you'd expect and well done. Would have liked to have more of the same tho. Apparantly the film has been nominated for a BAFTA, good luck to it. As far as bonuses go, there's a great Osymyso track on there. Well worth getting if you like Warp Records stuff and/or Blue Jam.
Also yesterday, I went out with my brother and a few friends of his for curry. I got £20 out as I thought that would be enough for curry. Unfortunately, we went to a pub beforehand and I bought a round. I really shouldn't have been drinking but it was the social thing to do... Anyways, went for curry 3 rounds down and had a very nice meal. I had a Shish Kebab starter followed by a Chicken Korma with rice and keema naan and a nice pint of Kingfisher. Embarrasingly however, it would seem that I couldn't afford all my meal witht he money I had on me and got some angry looks. My bro offered to pay the difference was good tho.
Other than all that, I've recently been getting into FurryMUCK recently. I've never bothered dabbling with it before as I found it a bit boring and pointless. that was when I thought the idea was to play it like an RPG game or something. If you do that, you find you have no objective and just get lost and lonely frequently. I only learnt the other day that it's really just used as another chat medium and so you just sit in a room and chat. I've got my character set up with a description and everything, suprisingly, my name is "SlyCat".
One more day off remaining until my 4 day marathon of being off work expires. I should probably stop wasting time and do some coursework tomorrow :)
