Another night in Pittsburgh...

OK, we got ourselves a hotel room in the Hyatt hotel joining the airport. Delta didn't seem bothered at all about our situation but we got them to sort the flights out. Will be a long day tomorrow, much longer than today was supposed to be. I feel rather numb right now, I was feeling in a state of despair when I posted my previous post but now I don't know how I feel. The worst thing which could have happened, happened. We will get the cost of the hotel back on travel insurance minus excess. I will have to check my policy but I should be due some cash for the cancelled flight too.

Ah well I guess I just go with the flow now. Gotta get up early tomorrow for the flight and got ages at NYC. Should go see the city really, but the way I'm feeling now, I just want to be home.

Aww, try to have ome fun in NYC if you have a long wait. Maybe hook u with some local fur(s) if someone is around, or even better check your bags such that you can get your fursuit out, and go get some fursuit photos at some landmarks in NYC! I'd love to see some pics of slyat in NYC on your journal!

Pittsburgh seems to have been cancellation city as far as flights go the last couple of days. Several of the post-AC reports I've read mention flight cancellations and re-routings...

Hope you get home safely and without too much stress.

"The worst thing which could have happened, happened." Melodrama! You're fine, your stuff is fine. You're just crudded and waiting for a day :P Have some rest and get back on to real food and you'll be right as rain, eventually. *noses*

It's easy to say that, you're in England. I think we've all been pushed well clear of our comfort zones and just want this ordeal to be over.
