Easter Weekend
Apr. 20th, 2003 02:40 pmI love the Easter weekend. Not because of the promise of chocolate or bunnies or anything religious but because it's a compulsory 4 day weekend :oD
This weekend has been even more special thanks to the glorious weather we've been having recently. Took advantage of the weather by having a barbeque on Friday Yesterday, I didnt do a heck of a lot due to friends working or being at football so I could have gone to the fur meet in London. Ah well, instead I went to see Johnny English yesterday afternoon with my brother. It was an amusing film but I kept on feeling it wasn't as good as it could have been.
Today, I went to the Gunwharf Quays shopping centre in Portsmouth with parents with the aim of getting a light summer jacket. Unfortunately, all of the places where I would have liked to have looked were closed. I should have forseen this really but there you go. There were still a large number of shops open there. Including the Cadbury's factory outlet who were doing half price eggs. I bought 2 for £3 and thought it was such good value (well, what they SHOULD cost) I bought another two just before leaving. Had a nice lamb bhuna in the Indian restaurant there which made a pleasant change.
Dunno what to do with the rest of my time. Probably catch up with some friends later today but nio idea what to do tomorrow. Could do some work on my course I guess...
