It seems my last LJ entry spawned a little debate over the credability of British films. Coincidentally, I stumbled along a nice little British movie today called Tube Tales. I bought it from Play.com as it was in the sale for a measley £4.49 including postage and it was based in the London Underground so it's interesting to see stories based somewhere familliar.

The film itself is actually a collection of short stories based in or around the London Underground ranging from comedies to dramas to mystery. I found the first stories more entertaining as the latter seemed to be a bit more film studenty. Regardless, it was worth the £4.49 as it's something I wouldn't have seen otherwise and wouldn't know what I had missed :)

I remember reading about that video ages ago in some newspaper supplement magazine whilst, incidentally on the tube... if it's good I might buy it myself.

Yeah it's worth getting. In the film by bob Hoskins, "My father, The Liar", it looked like the name of the station was Hornchurch! Although on further inspection it turned out to be Shoreditch :P Scummy looking station anyways.

Yeah go buy it, it's only £4.49 or even cheaper if you get it with 2 other films in the deal (3 for £12), however the other films all look shit.
