I am SO glad I took this week off!

slycatIt seems I've had quite a bit of good fortune that I wouldn't otherwise be having had I been working this week. Firstly, by pure chance, this week has been the hottest week of the year, I booked this week without any prior notice of this, I took it off because I just wanted a week off! :)
Secondly as a result of the heat, the trains have all become delayed quite badly all week, something I fortunately am able to avoid. What's worse is that I could have been on this train as it's my service, just not the right time!
As a result of the above train problems, I'll be getting refunds on most, if not all of the 5 days affected. With it being £13 a day, I'll be claiming a lot of money back with my next "void day" refunds :D
