Lotsa things
Nov. 21st, 2001 10:09 pmFirstly, I must apologise for the lack of finishing my last posting. I'll probably finish it tomorrow if not tonight. I would be doing it now if I didn't have a load of things I wanted to say before I forgot them all.
I got the MP3 CD player today - really quick delivery. I think it's worth every penny! It's soooo coool! No more boring train journeys for me. However, I'll need to rip loads of my CD albums to stick them on one CD - not too much work really.
NTL, my cable TV and internet provider are threatening me with court action if I don't pay their bills... I'll pay it off on Friday and maybe get a direct debit arranged so this doesnt happen again. I get paid Friday y'see? ;)
I've not been getting any yahoogroups emails for the past week or so... I've not changed anything so it seemed to be quite a mystery. Fixed it by effectively deleting my furry email address and using another and then re-adding the furry address. I can't wait to be overloaded with the spam that is the LondonFur list once more ;)
The job hunt isn't going too well... No-one ever gets back to me that I apply for - am I that unemployable? Never mind really because...
I could possibly be moving to Kent. Glis and Ruin are looking for a place to move out to and if they get a 2 bedroom place they can get someone to help split the bills. I'd be able to continue working for where I work and pay less for travel (But more in rent), I'd be able to wake up later for work, I'd have my own space and privacy and it's with people who I really like so it's all positives. The only down side would really be the fact that I'm tied into a 1 year contract with NTL. I'll have to look for ways to cancel the service. The only other things I've be leaving behind are the friends I still go out with from school who I seem to see less and less of recently due to them living their own lives, moving elsewhere, etc. I think it is a good idea all round really. I need a change in my life and it would look like this would be it. Glis and Ruin are sorting the technicalities out so thats a load off stress and worry off my shoulders as that was a major worry when I was looking for flats ages ago.
Yeah, I'm feeling more positive towards the future and can't wait to see where I'll be in 3 months.
