Retail Therapy
Jul. 28th, 2004 07:44 pmI've just bought this. It's the model I've been after and it's not a bad price. There were other auctions for £25 cheaper on buy it now but those weren't brand new and no-photos were included making me think they weren't as good as they make out to be. Also, I could have bought the unit for £185 without speakers from Richer Sounds and found a set of speakers to match but I've saved a bit on that. Possibly not the greatest deal on the planet as after postage, it's only £20ishcheaper than buying it brand new but I'll be happy with my purchase :).
Now I just gotta sell my old hi-fi... Anyone interested in a Sony CMT-M90DVD? It's a CD/RDS Radio/Cassette mini hi-fi which can also play DVDs!

gerald_duck to be told how I've wasted my money and I should have got a Meridian system or something ;)*

Date: 2004-07-28 03:08 pm (UTC)To be honest, the sound quality from my Sony system isn't too bad... but it plays DVDs and cassettes, both things I don't need as I have a DVD player. To be honest, I didn't really need a CD player as my DVD player can do that well enough, all I need is an amplifier and tuner. But alas, they're all in that standerd 44cm width so I had to go with this.
And no, I didn't want a valve amp and Quad speakers O.o!
