I've not updated this thing for a while now so I think it's time to jot something down.  I guess the reason for me not writing much is the fact that I've not been feeling particularily great.  This certainly is the time of year for depression.  In fact, I've had the Wednesday, Thursday and Friday off work as holiday in an effort to wind down and feel better.  Truth be told, I'm back to work tomorrow and I can feel the anxiety growing within me.  I just know there will be something I've forgotten and will be shouted at.  I just know that there will be tonnes of work waiting for me which the guy who was doing my work for me wasn't able to get done.  I also expect there to be repercussions of what happened at the start of the week when the boss gave me some strong words. *sigh* I just want to get this month over with so job searching will be easier, I really need to get out.  Some have told me that it may be a case of out of the fire, into the frying pan and I should stand my ground, see it out, etc but the way things are going, I'm thinking I'll need to get another job before they go and fire me...

Anyway, such depressing stuff aside, I have been keeping myself busy.  Two weeks ago, I went to the LondonFur meet, last weekend, I attended a mini HantsFur meet and yesterday, I met up with [livejournal.com profile] xendragon in Southampton and went about the shops.  Read Stef's entry for a bit more detail on what we did.  Points worthy of note were the delicious bratwurst hotdog we had at the German Xmas Market and going to see Blade: Trinity, which was quite frankly an awful film.  It had a rubbish plot about Dracula's return and had no real memorable scenes.  When they weren't plugging the iPod or Apple products at every given second, there was some good comedy, but that was about it.  It was a far better comedy than an action movie, and at times, you get the impression they knew that too.  All that said, I was never a fan of the first two films so maybe if you like that sort of thing, you'll like the third one but personally, I can't see why they bothered (much like with Terminator 3).

Other things I've done with my time off work was to list some things for sale in the local freeads and starting to put things on eBay.  Thinking I may have left that a bit late for X-mas tho.  I've also done a bit of web work.  I got all my old music online in XM, MP3 and OGG format at The Mod Archive.  I registered that domain a while back when I entered the wrong url for http://www.modarchive.com/ by accident and realised it wasn't registered.  They never accepted my music, even if it was crappy so in retaliation, I've got this site to host the music.  Plus I get random additional visitors who made the same mistake I did when typing in the URL ;).  I do plan to make a return into making music of sorts, I just need to learn the new software for doing it.  It looks like FL Studio (aka Fruity Loops) is the most appropriate software for my needs but it's taking a bit of getting used to.  Hopefully I can start doing some stuff in the future which wasn't as naff as my old stuff.

Other web work I've done is install the nifty photo gallery software on my server (supplied by my domain host) and moved all the photos from meets and things there.  It's online and viewable at http://www.fursuit.co.uk/gallery/.  You can leave comments if you register and other neat stuff like that.  I just really like the way it's set out and how it does everything for you.  One hint to anyone using the gallery, if you want to see a larger version of the image, click the image to get a popup.  It doesn't seem to mention this anywhere and so isn't immediately obvious.  I had the gallery online as of around midnight last night and have advertised it in the #uk channel, LondonFurs LJ community and UKFur forums and have managed to get over 1400 photos viewed so far!

Anyway, that's it as far as updates go for now.  Hopefully work won't be so bad.  Got an Xmas do with work at the comedy club, Jongleurs on Friday and an Xmas meal with the HantsFurs on the following Saturday, then the next week is all off work until the new year.  I've still no real plans for new year, I guess I should sort something out.  Would like to do something with friends tho.
