New Years Eve

This year I'm actually planning to do something for new years.  I'll be visiting tktiger and co down in Southampton.  Traditionally they all go to the clock tower in Southampton in fursuit to see the new year in but I wont be joining in in that.  Mostly because I'm too shy (which does seem perposterous considering no-one knows who you are in suit) but also cos the suit is so damn difficult to transport.  Regardless, I plan to join in where I can and drink plenty of alcohol :).

Another crappy year behind me, I said it last year but here's hoping the next year isn't as bad as this one was.  However, that said, I did get myself a new job but as the "grass is greener" saying goes, it hasn't turned out to be much of an improvement on my previous job, just that I dont need to travel for 2 hours to get there now.

Oo, a public furry outing? That could be fun! (Difficult to transport? Oh, definitely, but worth it. Gods know, Red's travelled a long way.. and still in the original cardboard box. *chuckle* Well, probably only about 20% of its weight by now, given the subsequent strata of various kinds of adhesive tape and airline labels, making it nigh indestructible, and flexible enough to accomodate Red being stuffed in. Not sure how I'd make it TSA-compliant now, though.. probably just leave the top sealed by a few straps of duct tape. But if they actually took everything out, there's no way they'd be bothered to put everything back in just so)

And I'll just echo your hopes, for both of us, that the coming year holds more than this past one. I'm still in hope with the current main prospect, even if it's proceeding with the same urgency displayed by glaciers. Not that I'll stop looking elsewhere, of course, but that would plainly take priority above all else. (Latest auguries suggest I'll approach the actual interview stage in January)
