New Year part 2

Following on from my previous post, I did go to sleep around 5am in the end.  It would have been sooner had I not been nattering with enigmafox178 on AIM.  Didn't sleep too well as it was rather chilly in the living room and had no blanket.  Also my bladder wasn't in the mood to let me sleep peacefully as I had to make a few tripe >_<.  I woke up properly at around 10am and just looked at websites and stuff until I was joined by aidax.  Had a nice natter about random stuff like his interest in The Beatles and stuff, meanwhile no-one else seemed to be waking up.  I got a text from my Mum saying dinner would be ready for 12.30, so I got my stuff together and left.

Since I got home, I have been on a bit of a tidy binge.  I've organised my shelves and thrown out a lot of old crap which I have just kept for one reason or another.  One item to be binned was my old Kodak 1megapixel camera which I bought back when digital cameras were first becoming affordable.  I bought it for around £215 at the time!  Anyway it had stopped working altogether and so had no choice but to bin it.  When it was working, the picture quality wasnt great anyway.

I've also been making more of an effort to sell stuff.  I have budlite interested in my Sony DVD hi-fi and talking to Enigma last night led him to be interested in purchasing my fursuit.  Obviously he'd like to have a look at it before putting money down so I came up with a cunning plan.  Let me just say that I really hate awkward questions from the parents and things such as fursuits create such questions.  My Dad was putting Christmas decorations back in the attic for another year so I asked him to get the fursuit down (which he for some reason believes to be a bear - I guess he might think I still had the Chipmunk).  The plan is that arakinuk has kindly agreed to help me transport the suit to tktiger's place, where I can store it until it is sold.  Storing it at TKs makes it much easier if anyone is interested in buying and wants to try it on, see it, etc.  Don't really want to explain furries to my parents.  Anyway, it's easier for people to get to TK's. (Thanks TK!) So yeah, I may well be getting some much needed extra cash soon, I will be able to complete my goal (and new years resolution) to clear all my debt yet! :)

Oh, just for my personal records really, I started this year weighing in at 18st 6lbs. Let's hope this time next year I'm below that :)

Not that I have either the money or the space, but are you talking of Sylvester? Are you planning on a replacement, or are you volunteering to be furless, so that another might revel in the joys of the fur? A noble endeavor. ^_^

(My family's always known I'm odd, so bringing Red home was just another of those things :)

Yes, the fursuit I am selling is Sylvester. Reasons for selling are that it's too huge for me to transport anywhere, the suit needs to be refitted and I'm no tailor and to be frank, I need the cash. I will be putting the money earnt into paying off my debts (which are currently around £2000). Once I have paid off that debt, I may well consider getting another fursuit... but it depends on what I need. I still need to learn to drive and I would like to move out again... it's all gotta be prioritised.

Transportation and storage of fursuits can be a pain, And your's is huge! (no pun intended *heheh*)
