Just a quickie

slycatYesterday, I took the day off. Mainly as I needed a rest and also had a few things I needed to do. However, one of the major things I needed to do yesterday was to call NTL about my outstanding account. I managed to completely forget this...
OK, what I did do yesterday was go to Bromley and get a much needed measuring jug (Just finding one was quite a task...), get some light bulbs and take a game back to CEX cos it doesn't work. Oh how exciting my life gets(!).
However, the day was improved by the fact that there was a coffee meet that evening. As I hadn't had much company recently, the prospect of chatting with some furs seemed quite appealing and so I went along. I got there on time at 8pm but no-one else was there. I got myself a hot chocolate with cream and sat at a table to drink it. Marcony arrived after about 10 minutes and so we talked a bit. The main problem was that myself and Marcony have almost nothing in common so the conversation was mainly him talking about stuff and me trying to seem interested. After a while, I was getting a bit worried that it was going to be just me and Marcony and no-one was going to save me from the awkward one way conversation...
Fortunately, Bhav showed up clutching an ABS trainer although Bhav didn't say much. After a bit, more furs appeared. ShyeFox was the first and then closely followed by Paddy, Crimson and an unknown guy dressed all in black. Then Southpaw arrived a bit after that. We talked and after a while, we decided to go to KFC.
After KFC, we went to FunLand for games. I wanted to play Bhav at Virtua Fughter 4 but some oriental guy was hogging it. >:( Instead, I played Bhav at pool and lost 2 games to 1. We never did find the others even though we suspected they were somewhere in the building but we kept on missing them. We left at around 11pm as I had to work the next day.
Now I've gotta go to work. Bah! I'm not looking forward do it... Laters.
