Finally! Another post
Feb. 20th, 2002 11:44 pmCrap, I've like not posted for ages. Therefore, I can't be arsed to detail everything thats gone on in my life between the previous log and now.
I've now settled down in my new home. I went to visit the parents last weekend and found it to be rather boring. This would mainly be due to the fact that there isn't that much to do there now as everything I did at there is now at my new place. Sleeping in what was once my room was just strange. It was my room but at the same time was not my room. Nothing of mine was there any more. Not even my bed which my brother had nicked... A very strange feeling indeed.
Um, what else? Oh yeah, I almost got fired from work for something stupid but I wont go into that...
Had the Monday, Tuesday this morning off work which was nice. I've only got 2 days left in the working week now :o)
Bought two CDs by Richard D James (Of Aphex Twin fame) which came in the post today. I got Caustic Window - Compilation and Mike & Rich - Expert Knob Twiddlers. Had both in bits on MP3 but I like to buy the music I like. Listening to Caustic Window now and I must say that it is excellent! (Especially played loudly). Need to get me a copy of the new Boards of Canada album now but I also need to watch my spending now if I want to go to AC. Got Rez for DC coming in the post too which is supposed to be amazing :).
Finally got my site back up again. I tried 'parking' my site to delete it easily but unfortunately, I was unable to reset it and so was stuck in 'parked' status. My domain host (Fasthosts) decided not to reply to my email and so resorted to calling them as they have a 24hr support line. When I got through after 30mins of crappy hold music (At least it was better than NTLs), they gave me a quick 2 minute solution to get it back so I'm currently in the process or reuploading that so there'll be something to look at shortly. Apologies for the delay in getting it back up...
