Just finished watching the excellent
Falling Down on DVD that I bought today. My brother suggested that I get it as he said it was a good film and it was in the sale in Virgin too. So I got that and
Forrest Gump for a total of £19.98 which was pretty good going. Had I got those on
Play.com, it would have cost me £26.98 - bargin!
Other than the DVDs, I got myself some smart shoes as I planned. Managed to find some with a wide fitting cos I have abmormally wide feet (For this I blame my Dad) for only £30! Not by a brand that I've heard of but they look good and feel great and that's all that really matters. Had considered getting a pair of the
Cat shoes but they look like smart shoes in the style of trainers so they're probably not best for a formal interview and stuff like that.
Nowhere had the
Acupuncture shoes I was after. Apparantly they are waiting for the new lines from Acupuncture and so have little or no stock at the moment. This considered, I decided I didn't NEED them like I needed some smart shoes so I'll get them at a later date when the ones I'm after are available.
Spotted a fursuiter in the
West Quay shopping mall which is quite a rarity so worthy of note. Never really see fursuiters in Southampton or the UK in general. Shame it was a traditional teddy bear type as it was for advertising the
Bear Factory. Oh well :P
Also worthy of note was 2 strange guys selling gigantic pink balloons outside the West Quay. Couldn't help feel they looked like big...
I'm off to watch Forrest Gump now... Laters!
