When I got home today, I found a large box was aiting for me. Inside was another large box containing study manuals, books, CDs, a mousemat and a document holder :) The first stage is pretty simple by the looks of it as they are training eveyone from the ground up. I can't wait to get cracking and get to a stage when I'm actually learning stuff!

In other interesting news, I finished my reading of Brother Nature by Robert Llewellyn today. Found it to be a most entertaining book which had me grabbed until the end. It is filled with conspiracy, hi-tech, great characters and other stuff. I'd certainly recommend it to anyone in my age group (Sorry, I won't win any awards as a book reviewer). As I had finished the book on the way to Waterloo, I bought myself a new book at the WHSmiths at Waterloo. Decided to get Dead Famous by Ben Elton. Looks like a cynical view on the Big Brother reality shows while being a whodunnit murder mystery. Anyway, I was reading my new book on the train to work and got so caught up in my book that I missed my stop... d'oh! I only realised when I looked up just as we were leaving a station to see that it was my stop! I had to get off at the next stop and then get another train back. Fortunately, my work don't really care if you are 10minutes late and so I just got down to work...

Um, nothing else worth writing about at this juncture so I'm gonna start reading my first study manual "Introduction to Personal Computers"!!! I think I should breeze through this one... :P

I had a lottery ticket for today's draw. I very rarely buy one but I thought, "What the heck, I might get lucky", so I bought a lucky dip (Computer generated numbers). However, I just checked my numbers and one one was picked. There should be a prize for managing to chose not a single matching number :P A big lump sum of cash would be a dream come true. I'd quit my job and set spend my spare time doing my training course. I'd probably go freelance or get a job at the end of it as I'd still want a job, I'd want something to do with my day. In addition, I'd probably go on holiday much and probably buy me a nifty fursuit ^_^. I would not want to just sit around being rich but doing nothing with my life however. Hmm, well there's like a 15million to 1 chance of actually winning the lottery but then some people do so the chance is a reality. However, I think I'm going to get through life the hard way like everyone else.

This first module of my course is really tedious as it is simple as anything. It's the kind of thing we were taught at school. I've just gone head first and completed the test rather than reading through the module's manual first and, apart from a few questions that aren't well explained, it was very simple. Unsure if I should submit it tho, should probably talk to a tutor first just in case. Don't want to make a silly mistake.
