Well started the day by oversleeping so I would not be able to get to London for 11am as planned. However, I gave Torque a ring and managed to pursuade him to come along with promises of beer. Got the train with him at 10.20am. Got to Waterloo 12noon (Much later than normal due to engineering works) where we stopped by to eat a breakfast of burgers. Hopped on the Tube down to Camden Town and went straight into Cyberdog and bought the CD I was after, Lab 4 - Virus. Then we walked back to the tube and continued up to Kentish Town and on to the pub.

At the pub, spoke with many furs, drank a moderate amount of alcohol and generally had a good time. Was nice to return after being absent for one meet. Gives you a bit more to talk about. Had a great conversation with Astral and Gothwolf about stuff. I'm sure Gothwolf was trying to get himself drunk by the rate at which he was downing his drinks. I gave [livejournal.com profile] timmypup the copy of Dead Famous that I promised him as I had an extra copy going spare. I hope he enjoys his copy as much as I did. Also gave [livejournal.com profile] tktiger a copy of the official Konami PC version of DDR and ShoukanjuAstral a copy of DWI complete with all the songs I have at the moment (400+). I got a chance to have a bit of a chat with nonezumiGlis and catch up on some things. Was nice to talk to him again because he had been such a good mate in the past. To be honest, I've not really seen him since we went our seperate ways in June after we lived together. I think he's just more involved with his relationship these days. Would be nice to properly go out drinking with him and have a proper chat/decent into drunkardness.

Come 3.45pm, myself and a bunch of other furs left to go see the Large Cinema presentation of the Lion King at the IMAX cinema at Waterloo. After watching the film I have to quite honestly say that it was stunning. I last saw the film, other than on video, in a pokey cinema in Newcastle back in 1994. This cinema was awesome in comparison, the 4 story high screen combined with the pumping sound system really did make for a spectacular showing. I recommend it to all! :) Also, I really must commend TK for his excellent seats (We were dead centre!) which made all the difference... Thanks TK!

Film over, we poked about Namco Station in Westminster where we mucked about on the dodgems (Bumper Cars to you Yanks ;) and then I had a go on the Dancing Stage Euromix 2 machine (Failing miserably), Dancing Stage Euromix (Failing moderately) and also AirTrix (Getting an A grade and my name 27th in the high scores :). I'm really out of practise when it comes to the DDR games and next to TK, I just looked pathetic. Some of the people from DDR UK who TK knew were there and they proceeded to impress each other with their dancing skills... I was still having fun playing however, just need to play it a bit more to get back to my old form. I did find that it used to be a good way of losing weight and getting exercise considering it provides a challenge; it gives you a sense of achievement when you get a high score or whatever. Also found that I got on with TK's friend, awardWardy so I guess I've made another friend *Adds to LJ friends list* ;)

Myself and TK got the 8.30pm train home and I had a bit of a listen to my new CD which I admit I was a little disappointed with. It just doesnt sound as pumping as their previous album, Evilution... Ah well. Had to call the parents for a lift home as the engineering works had moved to Southampton and so the trains were stopping at Eastleigh.

Again another satisfying meet. Managed to talk to the people I wanted to, (mostly) avoid those I didn't want to talk to and managed to make the most of it all. Would like to go for a meal with some folks next time tho as I've not done that for a while (Bar the HantsFur x-mas meal).
