Well I say it was a crappy day but that was mostly cos I was so busy yet time was not elapsing at all. On a Friday, you just want it to be over before it starts so you can get on with the weekend and as we all know, a watched clock never ticks.

However, I did manage to top it off with a nice ending because I was able to go for a meal with a few former employees, one who I havn't seen in ages (also the only person I ever told at work about my bi-sexual antics) which was good. Turns out that we never bothered contacting each other cos the other person never bothered to get in touch. I'll have to change that from now on as she's a great laugh and a person that I had worked with for over 4 years.

We all went to the Outback Steakhouse which was a recently built restaurant near to where I work and to my suprise (however, I suppose I shouldn't have been suprised as it's a franchise), it was laid out very similarly, almost identically in fact to the Outback Steakhouse I visited while in America, with [livejournal.com profile] bhavfox, [livejournal.com profile] mikazo, [livejournal.com profile] white_wolf and chapeljaxJax. For starter, I have the gorgeous Cheese Fries which I remember nicking a bit off Jax's plate before and almost filled up on just that! We had a plate to share the size of a mountain, I was very happy ;) For the main, I had the cheapest steak there cos I am skint and was bordering on the full anyway yet it was one of the most delicious steaks I've had in a long time. Chatted with the others there and caught up on what people are doing now before leaving for home.

Two small things worthy of note:

1. Was this so out of order?

2. Got a letter from NTL titled "Disconnection Notice" dispite the fact that I have NEVER received a bill from them that they mention, neither did they ring me back when I called them last Friday. I most certainly will not be paying any reconnection charge and will be giving them a very angry call tomorrow.
