MUCKing about
Feb. 27th, 2003 10:55 pmOK, this is gonna be my last post on the subject as I'm sure it's boring anyone who reads this.
Today, I decided to have a look at Tapestries, another furry MUCK that everyone seems to use. However, when I came to creating a character, it said SlyCat already existed. I was a little upset by this knowing there was another SlyCat out there in furrydom. I decided just on the offchance to try logging in as SlyCat and lo and behold, it let me in on my first try!
Still confused by the fact that I must have created this character before but never known about it, I searched for clues. The character was created on September 10th 2001, one day before the 9/11 disaster - spooky eh? Later found Ruadh in my WatchFor list who told me that myself and Orona were asking for a few pointers on MUCKs and told us about Taps. None of this rung any bells though, still leaving me bewildered and confused.
Looking around Tapestries, I found that it was probably a bit to dark and sex based for my liking, compared to the relative friendliness of FurryMuck. I think I'll stick with FurryMuck for now.
