Had a good weekend, saw Bill Bailey (I'm still amazed at the number of people in my generation who just don't know who he is or appreciate his comedy) on Sat with ![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
hawx who was very funny but repeated some material from his previous show. This show, he came across as a nice blend between Eddie Izzard and Harry Hill. The highlight of the night was his many songs as I love them to bits and it was great to hear some new songs. It was great to see a comedian in the flesh, I've never really been that close to a celebrity before, especially one I admire. The seats weren't as great as I was led to believe as we were rather high up. It's a small yet tall theatre so we were essentially looking at the top of his head. I'm glad we had front row seats of where we were however.
Went back to Hawx's place after the show as it was too late to get myself home without having to get a taxi from Southampton (very expensive). Next day,xendragon turned up and we went to the pub for lunch. This was then followed by me playing crap at pool and Hawx getting a new TV/DVD thingy. After watching some stuff, we went to the local student pub where I played poorly at pool again and Xen got drunk.
Was a nice weekend, just a damn sahme it all went far too quickly... as time generally does when you're having fun. Back to work tomorrow and back to willing the days away until another weekend of fun... or in next week's case, a LFM.
