I seem to have been posting here less and less frequently recently. Not sure why, maybe it means that I have less to write about or maybe it mean that I'm too busy doing stuff to write here. Truth be told, I've just been lazy ;).
Went to visit Hawx and Xen on the bank holiday weekend (even though I had to work Monday) and went to visit Glis the following weekend and had a fantastic time. Yesterday, I went to Bath with my brother just because it was something to do and ended up in the middle of a street party there which turned out to be the last day of the Bath Fringe Festival and was also known as Walcot Nation Day (the party was held on Walcot street). Was quite a suprise really because we just went there to alleviate boredom and it was somewhere we hadn't been in many years (possibly going on 15 years since I last went there) and ended up in the middle of this party. Made the trip all that much more worthwhile.
Today I got a tonne of new DVDs in the mail. Specifically, Zen TV (2hrs of great music videos from the likes of Mr Scruff and Coldcut), Zatoichi and Astro Boy Vol. 1-3 Boxset. Currently watching my way through Astro Boy which if you don't know already is the 2003 update of the anime series of the same name which in turn was based on a manga of the same name :). I'm very glad I got this version, not because it came with an Astro Boy lego figure, but because compared with the American version (which I previously had on DivX), it's so much better. The Americans totally bastardised the series to make it more cool and action packed and in doing so, they've lost half of the plot. This version makes much more sense. I guess the Americans edited it to make it more like Dragonball Z or whatever so the kids would like it.think of anything to say here so I'll just stop.
