Washout weekend

Bah, what a waste of a weekend that was.  I did nothing significant apart from maybe buying me a new "office chair" for my computer as the previous one was falling apart.  Now it's Monday morning already and back to work...  Roll on next weekend, I promise I'll do something interesting! :P

[LJ2ME] Overtime

I worked almost two hours overtime today as there was extra work that needed doing which should have been done last week. The boss wasn't happy about the situation and my colleague was getting the flak for it so i agreed to stay behind and help out. I'd only have to find time to fit it in amongst my other work so it was good to just focus on the task and get it out of the way. I'm not that depressed or upset that i had to do overtime on a monday, in fact i'm fairly perky. It's not as if i had anything planned for this evening anyway. Plus i get paid overtime which is a bonus. I'll be getting good around 8.30 but that fact doesn't get of down, I just think back to when i used to work in London, i used to get home around 8ish and that was without taking any overtime :D
