Today, the most constructive thing I've done is updating the UK fursuiters web page.  Whereas I did have about 7 people, 3 were dead links and I decided it needed redoing.  I've now got a grand total of 15 plus a small list of people I know to have suits but no sites.  Have a look at the full list by going to http://www.fursuit.co.uk and clicking "Meet the fursuiters".  I plan to redesign the entire site but wanted to start by getting all the links I can.

Also, I'm aware that the gallery is down due to an SQL problem.  Something randomly went wrong in the SQL database and I don't know what it was. In trying to fix it however, I inadvertanly removed the database without taking a backup first (doh!).  Anyway, I've emailed my host to see if they can restore a backup, if not, I'll need to rebuild the galleries.

Now it's time for bed.  Need to readjust myself for going back to work on Tuesday.

Well, I've had a nice time off work for the festive period but alas as for all good things, it has come to an end.  I've not entirely wasted my time off but I have spent a number of days sitting at home doing nothing in particular.  I did accomplish some things such as move my fursuit out of the attic (where it's been since I moved back home in July 2003) to [livejournal.com profile] tktiger's flat, ready for sale.  I've also got a bit of web work done on my www.fursuit.co.uk site as far as tidying up old and broken links and adding new ones.  Also had the oppertunity to visit [livejournal.com profile] tktiger and co a lot which I've not really done much previously, which is silly really considering how close they live (although admittedly TK used to live much closer back in the old days).

Also spent best part of the afternoon comforting [livejournal.com profile] arakinuk who's gone through a particularily tough day.  Take a look at his journal entry to see why.  I hate to see good honest people like him get screwed over like that. *hugs to the 'coon*

Anyway, it's back to work tomorrow which I'm not particularily looking forward to. Apparantly we should be getting new staff next week, people who are being employed above me and no doubt for much more than me. I get paid peanuts for what I do and feel I really should get more. When I ask for more they say they need to pay for the new staff instead. I really feel like I'm not valued at my company. Come Wednesday I will be looking in the job papers and restarting my quest for a new job. Wish me luck.
