Coming to the end of a rather dull weekend.  Where the most exciting thing which happened to me was that my old computer chair collapsed meaning I had to get a new one.  Now got a nice real leather chair, much more comfy than the old one :).  Other than that, I've been reading up on BT IPStream Max for work, in the form of a 46 page document.  Terribly boring stuff, basically outlining how bad the service will be and that it'd be very hard for customers to raise legitamate faults for the service... BT would like to think it's the next best thing since sliced bread of course.  I've never liked ADSL compared with Cable as I know how unreliable it can be.  It's always been a compramise of technology, making it work over phone lines.  Ah well, I'm the poor sod who has the responsibility for supporting all of our customers with it.

Next weekend will be a totally different story.  It seems that I've got three things I can do on the Saturday, which is prooving to be quite a headache.
  1. HantsFur meet

  2. It's close by and I have long since committed to going along to it and meeting the people who are going.

  3. LondonFur meet

  4. Would get the chance to see [livejournal.com profile] xendragon who's specially making the trip down to the area from Scotland and is celebrating her birthday, and [livejournal.com profile] acefox who I've simply not seen in ages.  However it would mean not seeing those I had promised to see at the Hampshire meet, and would mean paying out for train tickets I shouldn't be buying, especially after buying a £60 chair.

  5. Non-fur friend's party

  6. A friend I used to have from school times is coming down and visiting another friend of mine and having a bit of a party.  I missed out on the last time he came down to visit, most likely due to a furry event then too.  It would only be in the evening most likely so I could technically go to this and the HantsFur meet.
So yeah, I'm kinda torn between the options... why do they all have to happen on the same bloody day?! If I wasn't working the bank holidays, I might have been able to fit visiting certain people into the other days.  Ah well, I'm sure I'll decide before the time comes.
