New news on the fursuit front

chapeljax posted another update in his LJ today saying he'd have photos of my fursuit soon.  I know he said that with his last update, but after a chat with Jax over AIM, I was more convinced that things were actually coming along and I am positive I shall get the suit in time for EF now.  In addition to this, Jax has done me a conbadge which is pictured to the right which is really cute.  Obviously as a photo of a drawing, it's a bit washed out, but I'm sure the real thing will be even better :).

Interesting design feature of the suit will be that it can be worn as a partial or a full suit.  2 suits in 1 if you like.  Basically to make the full suit a partial, the neck on the head needs to be enough to cover the neck, you need a seperate tail, and you need to add "sleeves" to the paws so you can wear t-shirts and the like.  It's quite a cool design feature as it means that like for meets and stuff I can bring the partial and it's not big deal to wear it, and also for overly hot weather.  While for cons and stuff, I've always got the full suit.  Personally, I prefer the full suit look, but partials have their advantages at times.

Mostly thanks to calgor convincing me to move to his server so we can do the same missions and stuff :P

Looks like best place to get the retail copy is HMV for £15... and then £8.99 a month.  Woe is me.
