t_h_squirrel. I'm currently residing with klepsydra, insofox and nomadfox in room 355, if you're reading this and are at the con.
Following my last post, we went to Alcatraz as planned which was really good. We also had the fortune of going on Al Capone's birthday so were treated to a talk about him. Yesterday, we covered most of the other sights such as Golden Gate, Lombard Street, Coit Tower, China Town and also a breif visit to Haight Ashbury.
I have just registered and got my badge, but as there hasn't been much else to do, I've mostly been wandering around spotting people I know and lazing in the gorgeous hot sun by the pool.
However, it has not all been good. I learnt yesterday that I would nto be receiving my fursuit in time for the con. I received and apologetic email fromchapeljax explaining that he had been struck down by some illness meaning he's not been able to do it in time which resulted in me feeling pretty depressed. But I've been doing my best to push that to the back of my mind and will try to enjoy the con as best I can.
