Weekend update

slycatGah, thanks to daylight savings time, my body still thinks it's 6am when it's actually 7am... The person who decided that moving the time-zone was a good idea should be shot.
Anyway, this weekend, rather than attend the LondonFur meet, I stayed home and saved my cash as I was already well into my overdraft. Sounds like it was just as well as not many people attended. Would have been nice to see Glis again tho. I shan't be attending the Easter meet either as I'll be going to the HantsFur meet on the 15th. acefox and xendragon will be showing up, both who I havn't seen in a long time, and Xen's specially making the trip down. I dunno, I may change my mind about it. I don't plan to be at the 6th May LondonFur meet either as I plan to be visiting friends elsewhere. So it's looking like I won't be at the LondonFur meet again until the 27th May!
Saturday evening, just for a break in the boredom, I went to see Hostel withbungle_bear. It was quite a good film, felt very much like a Saw-esque horror with all the gore, and the tone, etc. I liked the way the story was set up, however there was no great crescendo at the end like you'd expect with this sort of film, but was still a good ending. Also, I'm sure there's a japs-eye joke to be made somewhere in there... you'd need to see the film to know what I mean :P. After the movie, I almost got stranded in the outskirts of Southampton from waiting for a night bus which didnt turn up. Instead, Bungle and I got Domino's and walked back to his place (which happens to follow the bus route). As such, by the time we got there, the next night bus was due, and to our suprise it actually turned up so I was able to get home :).
