PS1 in the Palm of My Hands

I've never owned a PS1 before, and now the PSP is letting me play on all of the games I missed out on. After a bit of hard work, I've been able to upgrade my 2.81 PSP to 3.03 firmware, then downgrade it to 1.50 using an exploit in GTA Liberty City Stories (which I had to buy in CEX) and then upgrade it again to a modified 3.10 firmware. This lets me play any Playstation 1 game which has been suitably converted for use on the PSP and also any other games I happen to "acquire" over the net without any fiddling about. It's really quite awesome. Now I just need to get hold of some PS1 games as the net's proving to be a bit of an unreliable source for them. I may have to raid tktiger's collection sometime soon :D

Why did you need to downgrade it?

We have a few PS1 games if you wanan borrow some.

Had to downgrade to 1.50 as the upgrade to the modified firmware only works from that.

Hee, thanks. I've just sucessfully converted an ISO of Disney DDR to PSP format and I've downloaded FFVII in PSP format. All works suprisingly well!
