Suhl Panorama
Sep. 7th, 2008 12:49 pmI had a series of photos of the view from the hotel window in Suhl and needed to get them stitched together for a panoramic photo. Took me a while to find a decent program to do it, and automatically and I eventually came across the fantastic Autopano Pro which not only twists and skews the photos to make them blend seamlessly, it will also correct the colour differential between the photos making it a perfect blend.
I've posted the pic it produced on my gallery, but I thought I'd share the result here too:

Click the pic for the full res thing (it's 2.4mb). My camera's not the best in the world and it also has a pair of blemishes I think on the lense or the sensor itself. Would be nice to see what's possible with photos taken with a decent camera :)

Date: 2008-09-07 12:59 pm (UTC)I found a university-developed panorama application a few months ago, but I've never "made time" to give it a try. Some day... some day.
