Bank Holiday Weekend foo

hawx and growf(Bruce) at Waterloo. We walked off Namco, played a few rounds of DDR Euromix 2 (Bruce observing) and then went downstairs for a drink and a few rounds of pool. Not too sure how I did at pool, in fact, I'm not even certain as to whether I even won a game... Then we had a game of bowling which I lost at again (Hawx winning).
Next we went to camden for a look around. I was after a decent t-shirt but none of the good ones were in XL. Ended up getting a shirt with a dog mixing on it and "doggy-style" written on the back (Which my mum didn't approve of apparantly). Looked in shoe shops but none had what I was after so we went to the Dev for a pint, the chippy near Camden tube and then on the tube to TCR. Drank in a nice quiet (yet expensive) pub nattering about nonsense and realised it was too late to get home at a reasonable hour (As it was a Sunday) so we all went to Richmond and slept over at Bruce's.
Bruce's apartment has really changed since I was last there. It's now all nice and clean since Bruce's housemate moved out. Bruce has a 4ft tall Mushu plush that was an ex-display from a Disney Store which was rather cute. Also had a gigantic jaguar £200 plush from Hamleys called Sid... Anyhoo, we slept on the futon and woke around 10ish the next morning. Got showered and went off to Waterloo where I had breakfast (Bagel with scrambled egg, cheese, bacon and ketchup - mmmm!)
Got the tube to TCR so HAwx and Bruce could have noodles for breakfast. Not really knowing where to go next, we went into HMV where I bought Ash - Envy DVD single and Autechre - GantZ_Graf DVD which was crap and a waste of money... Shame cos I like all the other Autechre stuff I have. This one was just random noises and no rhythm at all. wondered round to Hamleys where we managed to lose each other. Erm, didn't get anything as usual so we continued down Regent Street and popped in a donut place for drinks and donuts before going to the Blue Posts for a pint (Hoegaarden this time :).
Next, wondered up to CEX and got me a Rampage Puzzle game for GBA and Hawx got Tony Hawx 2 and F-Zero for GBA. SHowed off the Atari anniversary collection to a sales assistant who I got talking about it. He seemed much impressed :) However he played it on a gameboy with a fitted afterburner (backlit screen) which impressed me :P
Time to call it a day so took the tube back to Embankment as Waterloo was closed due to a fire alert apparantly. Walked over to Waterloo and couldn't see any problems that the tube driver had informed us of but there you go. Bleh. Got the 5pm train home...
A nice way to spent my weekend I think. Got to know Bruce a lot more and spoke about many things. He's a really interesting guy who knows lots about everything and seems to have an amusing annecdote for every occaison :P No more talk about 47yr old wicca high preist witches please ;)
Also, go to www.bitterfilms.com as it is the home of that "rejected" animation that everyone's on about. You can get the other cartoons from Kazaa too which are equally disturbing. Argh! My back is aching for reasons unknown so I'm off to bed now...
