clawz_skunk's 21st birthday meal thingy

Work was crap as usual. Not as stressful as it has been which was good cos I felt quite tired for the majority of it. Anyways, I got invited by Clawz to come to his birthday meal thing that he was organising at last minute today. So after work, I popped up to Twickenham (Where Clawz works) and got a lift to Southampton.

Met up with dark_lordess, tktiger, Torque and his housemate at Torques and went to the Weatherspoons in Shirley. Had a nice mixed grill while talking about the most grotesque things that Clawz has seen on GayDar (where he works) and such... Was a fun night out.

Paid £16 + £1 tip for a taxi back from Southampton to home because otherwise I would have got back at midnight as I'd have to get the bus. Got home at 11.15 which was much better than midnight. I felt my money was well spent if it was a bit extortionate... (Most I've ever had to pay fo a taxi home and this was fixed rate for the destination)... Bleh

My back's been killing me all day and last night. Don't know what I've done to it but I can only hope it gets better soon. Got my "The Vines - Highly Evolved" album from Play.com (For £7!) today and listening to it now. It's got a really good sound to it so far, one I'm glad to have purchased rather than the crappy Autechre thingy I got yesterday... I really need new batteries for my cordless mouse. It's like it's filled up with a ton of dust from the way it moves but it's just the battery running dangerously low.

I'm tired so I think I will try to catch up on my sleep now...
