OK, not posted here for a while and I've missed out on writing some great things that I wanted to be recorded.

Last Thursday, I turned up for work on time as usual to find that everyone was waiting outside. They first joked by asking if I had any keys, which I didn't as I had lent them to Sinead (I figured I don't get in early enough or leave late enough for needing keys). I was quite suprised that no-one had brought their keys, all seemed a bit suspect. Turned out that some vandals decided it would be funny to fill our keyhole with glue! People decided it would be a good idea to call a locksmith but no-one knew the number for one or talking pages. Fortunately, with O2, talking pages is simply 888. I promptly got the number for a locksmith and they said they'd be around 30mins. This was fine as it would mean that I wouldn't have to go in to work so early - however I was kinda worrying at the state the helpdesk queue must be getting into (It's on an automated timer system so would turn on automatically). 20 mins later I got a call from the locksmith to say that he would be another 30mins as he was finishing a job (My arse). In about a further 15-20mins, the MD showed up and decided it would be best to barge the door open as only one of the 3 locks was glued.

We finally got in for work at 9.40am - A nice hour after my normal starting time! :D The strangeness of this morning continued as one of the developers had left his bike outside (He usually brings it in but I guess he forgot due to the earlier drama), right in front of the window where I work. However, I failed to notice this until some dodgly looking bloke began examining the bike, twisting the seat and generally checking it out. I asked Sinead if that was Nige's bike and before we realised what was going on, this bloke got on the bike and rode off! Nige didn't bother to tell the police as he said the bike was shite anyway :P

OK, skipping ahead to Saturday, I have to say that I had one of the best nights out I've had in ages. I went with my brother and Hybryd to go to a boat party at Ocean Village. The party was essentially a "rave" if you like. Two floors of music featuring acid techno and hard house. Took me a few dinks but before too long, I was dancing my heart out and stuff, until I got stitch :P. I ended up chatting with people Hybryd hadn't seen in years and made an odd friend. Also ended up talking with other random people and had a good time. For some reason there were 30 people dressed as Elvis. They didn't exactly look like your usual raver but I suppose like in a furry we-accept-everybody-sort-of-way, no-body really cared about it :).

After the boat party, we went to a house party help by the bloke who organised the boat party himself, Owen. I couldn't help but notice the similarities between Owen and Cabbit. Especially when Owen started playing mad gabba music and shouted "Have it!"... I look straight at Hybryd who was thinking the same thing ;) We left as I was feeling tired and didn't want to stay up all night so we drove off, dropped off Hybryd in Winchester and finally got back home around 4.30am when I promptly fell asleep.

Oooh all that brings me to today. Not much really. However, I took a day off from work so I could go to the job fair that's going on on Thursday. I'll most likely go with [livejournal.com profile] kashyfox who is also looking for work in the area now since he moved back with his parents.
