My weekend

slycatBah weekends go far too quickly for my liking. However, I did manage to get things done such as updating my web site, signing up for a training course, bought me the murriest kickass Sennheiser headphones (Without being those huge enclosed headphones), bought Mum a present, bought Rob Grant - Colony and Robert Llewellyn - Brother Nature for me... and that was my day only up until Saturday evening :o)
Saturday evening, I went with my brother to the last ever "Hard Acid Style Boat Party". We picked up Hybryd from his place in Winchester en route (Kinda) and after much waiting in the freezing cold, we boarded the boat around 9pm. Had a great time dancing to Hard NRG, etc at 160bpm but got knackered far too quickly. As it was impossibly cold outside, it was hard to just relax and so I spent much time sitting around. Still, it was fun, just not quite as good as the previous one.

Today, I was supposed to go to PC Arena again with![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
kashyfox but instead I decided to sleep until 1.30am as I got in at 3am from the party last night. However, I tested the replacement Hi-Fi that I was sent but alas the problems were not faults, they were simply design flaws. I've requested a full refund now. Not too sure what to replace it with yet, ideas on a postcard to the usual address :o)
I won't be going to the LondonFur meet next Saturday now as I have my work's Christmas do on the Friday 13th and so expect to get home from that late that night. I won't be up for going back on the trains the next morning so I'll mostly sleep in and then go to the HantsFur Christmas dinner that evening.
Also, while talking about things I won't be able to go to, I will not be able to go to Anthrocon next year. Now that I'm paying the extortionate amount for my course, I have no money for luxuries or anything. I will only be able to afford minimal present this year which sucks... I plan to see about going to FC 2004 however - Anyone interested in that at this stage?! :o)
