Today at work was freezing cos the heating just refused to warm up for some reason. The water isn't heater at all regardless of if the heating is on... this makes wasking your hands after using the toilet *PAINFUL!!*

I now remember why I despise Winter... is the months of crap weather and depression... I guess thets why they invented Christmas - to make people happier. Little did they know that buying christmas presents is one of the biggest stresses a male can go through. Males aren't made for shopping for other people, they are only good for shopping for themselves... This is why I bought 2 books and a pair of headphones this weekend when I only bought one present. Have lots of X-Mas shopping to do yet, plan to do so this weekend.

Almost finished Stupid White Men by Michael Moore. Has been an interesting and entertaining read. Had these facts been put to me in any other way, I would have fallen asleep reading bur Michael has a unique way of putting boring facts across so they can be quite palletable. I guess he writes like this to allow even his fellow American to be able to read the book. Next book I expect to begin reading tomorrow is Colony by Rob Grant. Should be a good if Backwards was anything to go by.

I'm looking forward to starting my course. I just want to get down and so it... Hopefully I'll get some info by the end of the week on this.

Alba (The parent company for the Ministry of Sound audio products) have agreed to let me have a full refund. For what they lack in decent products, they certainly make up for in decent customer supposrt. I know that folks think I should get hi-fi seperates if I want a quality hi-fi but unfortunately, I am unable to fund this. Been looking at Philips hi-fis more and have been quite impressed with what I've seen:
  • The Streamium MC-i200 sports some rather impressive specs such as the unique ability to attach it to your network hub and pull internet radio stations down live (Only MP3 streams) without your PC being on. Other than that, it has impressive speakers, tuner and MP3 CD player however it is not currently available yet and T3 says it's expected to be released around the £400 mark.
  • Next is the one hi-fi I was looking at before, the MZ 1200, this looks nice, does everything and has decent speakers. However, this weighs in around £250 and doesn't have the ability to show the name of the tracks or anything due to the small screen.
  • Thirdly and the most likely candidate for my next hi-fi is the MCM250 which sports an RDS tuner (Radio text), CD Text and full MP3 CD support, combined with a tape deck which is always useful. All comes in a tidy small package however the speaker specs seem less than impressive at 10 watt (RMS), all this for £125-£150 (More like my price range).
OK, so any ideas as to which I should go for or do you know of one that would suit me better? I'll most likely try out the MCM250 at Comet at the weekend as they have one on display. I don't care about DVD support, that was just a bonus with the other hi-fi which I ultimately paid the price for. I can always get me a cheap small DVD player later on next year and use my PC in the meantime.

At the time of writing, my domain, www.fursuit.co.uk is still down after my host, TopClassHost (Also host of Makali, Kitten and Glis's sites) had server problems and decided to transfer to a new server. This apparantly was working this morning but now, the site is blank and I have no access to my email. As you can imagine, I'm quite a bit peeved at this. I'm still awaiting an email response as they have no phone number >_<. I guess they are overwelmed with emails at the moment as they havn't even acknowledged my email yet. Hopefully it'll be back up without all my emails missing by tomorrow. If they did not make a backup, I'll be demanding more than one month free (Which they have offered all customers affected already).
