HantsFur Christmas Meal

slycatGot picked up by Arag and TK to go round to TK's place around 6ish and we played the UK edition of You Don't Know Jack to pass time until Calgor arrived. I almost won but then got pipped at the post by TK in the Jack Attack :P We left around 7ish and stopped by Kashy's. Everyone managed to get to Kashy's at the same time. That was Leinir, Torque, TK, Calgor, Anthropuppy, Foxbrush and myself. After a quick stop off, we then all went to the restaurant.
The restaurant was the same as last year's, "Nick's". Not a particularily special venue but the food is good and relatively affordable (Plus they had spaces for us ;). I opted out of the set menu so I could miss a starter and get a dessert that wasn't in the set menu list. I had the fillet steak (Didn't want to do turkey again as I did that the previous day for work) and followed it up with a nice melty chocolate fudge cake covered in fresh cream :oD. I handed out the presents I got everyone which turned out to simply be a can of Vanilla Coke for everyone to see if I could get them addicted to it as much as I am. It seemed to go well, both Leinir and I topped up our Coke floats with them so the restaurant staff suspected nothing... With the meal done and paid for, we all bundled back to Kashy's place.
TK handed out presents to us all, mine being a cartoon cat calendar (Who bears a striking resembalance to Sylvester...) but the present that seemed to get the most attention was Foxbrushes "Uses for a Dead Cat" book which was quite frankly... morbid! Many thanks go to TK for some really nice and well thought out presents. Went home must have been around midnight, catching a lift with Arag. All in all, a good day.
Today I was going to go crimbo shopping but really didn't feel like facing the crouds so I watched some DVDs on my new DVD hi-fi thingy instead. Got a bit of a backache from lying on my bed for so long! Kashy called asking if I wanted to do the PC Arena thing but I've declined. I'll most likely tidy my room, do a bit of work on my site maybe and then watch more DVDs I expect :).
