Three days after selling my GBA, I received my copy of Boulder Dash Ex, which from the manual looks fantastic. I'm really eager to start playing it but alas I have to wait until the end of March for this :P In the meantime, for entertainment on the train, I've resorted to playing my long forgotten Neo Geo Pocket Colour (NGPC). The version of Puyo Pop is worlds apart from the GBA edition. I get the feeling that the AI on the NGPC is better but the game options are few and far between and graphics are much more simple. Despite that, they are well animated and they add to the gameplay. Can be quite hard distinguishing the pieces however considering I'm partially colour blind (That Red/Green thing I forget the name of).

Was nice to only receive just some email actually intended for me today bar an accidental spam on the UKFur list, since unsubscribing to the LondonFurs and the Fursuit lists. I figured I never read the content and rarely contributed so there was little point receiving the mail. I'll just rely on announcements in the UKFur list for news of events in the future.

I now know that my parents a) Don't even suspect my sexuality and b) Are rather homophobic. I know this because I was talking to them about San Francisco (We got on the subject after talking about Beverly Hills Cop which I had seen earlier that day and wondered if they visited it while in California) and they mentioned how they ended up in a hotel full of gays. Apparantly there was some sort of gay convention going on at the hotel at the time but they were scarce on the details of this. Anyway they warned me against going there due to the number of homo's! :P They really are as old fashioned as I suspected. I'm glad I never said anything when I was still confused about my sexuality.

It is my Dad's birthday today and so I got him a card with a "Car accessory" inside, which turns out to be a sticker saying "Dad's Taxi Service" as a joke about how he gives me a lift to work every day. Also got him Who Wants To Be A Millionaire DVD game and Monopoly New Edition for his PC. He seemed quite happy with the gifts but is yet to try them out. I had tried the Millionaire game and managed to get to the dizzy heights of £32,000. Now if only I could get that in real life :P

Erm, that's it for this bulletin of random news, adios!
