...and relax
Mar. 31st, 2003 09:58 pmPhew! I thought I had lost my train pass to London. I realised I hadn't got it when I was at the platform this morning. was too late to go home for a replacement so I had to pay £40 for a one day ticket. However, when I got home, I searched about and could not find the pass anywhere. I began to suspect that I may have dropped it in Southampton somewhere yesterday when I took my wallet out of my pocket. Fortunately, I found it under a pile of CDs and things on my computer desk. I'll still have to get to the station early tomorrow to claim the £40 back from the ticket I had to buy however.
In other news, I've suddenly been spoilt for choice music wise. Firstly, my order of Aphex Twin - 26 Mixes for Cash and Plaid: Remixes - Parts in the Post arrived today. Of those, I've only had a chance to listen to the first CD of the Plaid Remixes which is quite supurb. With the Aphex Twin CD, as I ordered from Warp Records direct, came 2 limited edition chocolate coins. The question is, to eat or not to eat? Not that collectable eaten but no good to anyone not eaten. Hmm... Belgian chocolate!
I've also downloaded the new Radiohead album, Hail to the Theif, that was leaked yesterday apparantly. Don't think it's the final master but it still gives you a good idea of what's to come. From what I've heard so far, it sounds fantastic. I'll buy the album when it does come out as I always like to have the real thing of music I like.
All that lot is currently being MP3'd and burned to a CD so I can listen to it all on the way to work. I'll put up full opinions once I've given them all a good listening to.
