slycat | Movies, weekend and stuffs

Just finished watching the first film directed by the Wachowski brothers (Directors of The Matrix), Bound. I was a little uncertain if it would be a good film as even after reading the back of the box, I wan't impressed. Nevertheless, I bought both Bound and Chasing Amy in a 2 DVDs for one deal (pointage to those who spot a common theme between the films ;) at Sanity. Found Bound to be a pleasing thriller which is very watchable. I was a bit worried at the start as it seemed to be a film about a lesbian plumber! I was glad to be proven wrong ;)

I've got quite a packed weekend ahead of me. On Saturday, I've got a meet up in Reading with lots of friends to look forward to. It started out with me suggesting that I go visit

Silverwind and it kinda expanded from there. Plans involve watching X-Men 2 (assuming we can get seats), Pizza Hut and shopping. Should be a laugh, I've only been to Reading once before despite the fact it's relatively close.

Sunday, I expect I'll go to Southampton and later get thrashed at pool by

kashyfox. In the evening, I'll be going on the "SOAP" Boat Party. Despite the name, it has nothing to do with soap itself, that's just the name of the night. It's basically clubbing on a boat :D Should be fun, I've not gone clubbing in too long.

I also have the rest of the week off work as I felt I deserved time to sit back and relax for a while without the stresses of work but I currently have nothing planned. Would like to travel a bit more but money's tight and everyone works during the week anyway. I'll probably just end up sleeping most of the time and working hard on my course.
