slycat: (Mr Scruff's Pie)

I know I've been toying with the idea for ages but I've finally gone and done it, I've sold my SlyCat (v2) fursuit to a good friend, Sandroo so at least I know it's going to a good home. From what I make of it, he plans to do it up and pad it out and stuff.

As far as delivering it, it's gonna be excuse time again to get round the parents. I should be able to take it up to Sandroo's by train some time, the excuse for the parents being that I've sold it to a friend I knew from London who moved away since I lived in London ;). This is all something I need to worry about when I get to it, which wont' be for a while yet.

There are many reasons why I've been wanting to sell it, I need the money, I'm not a fan of the huuuuuge head, it doesn't fit me properly and needs fitting and padding, my parents think it is weird and would rather I sold it (no, they've not been pressuring me to do this) and anyway, I never really it anyway. with it gone, I'll at least be able to see about getting another suit, probably with a smaller head, maybe even in time for FurtherConfusion if I follow through with my plan to go there next year. Who knows? I have a few ideas knocking around for a new suit already...

To commemorate the sale, I've removed my fursuit LJ icon and put in a pie, which I made from the Mr Scruff video :)

In other news, I got my copy of GTA:Vice City today. Played the first mission and havn't exactly been blown away yet. Need to give it a bit more play time to give a better evaluation meethinks. One odd thing I've noticed though is that the car engine noises seem awfully quiet, so much I can barely hear them. That is with the SFX turned up to the max. Maybe someone else with the game can point me in the right direction.

I think you may need to be from Essex to fully appreciate GTA:VC, y'know.

Mmm, pie

Also, check the audio hardware settings in the game. Number of speakers, EAX type, etc.

Yeh, before I even start playing a new game, I go through all the options. Using EAX and more than 4 speakers... I may just turn the music down :P

Talking of Mr Scruff I was very tempted by Keep It Unreal for £7 in Fopp the other day, but I went for Sigur Ros - () instead.

Great icon though.

I'm not a great fan of Mr Scruff's music to be hinest. I bought Trouser Jazz through the reputation he seemed to be earning but it's never really struck a chord with me.

however, I did like the video and song, Sweet Smoke which is where I stole the pie from. Was a bugger to grab, I can tell ya :P

Heh, I bet it was :)

All the videos of his that I've seen are similar, same animation style and sense of humour etc. He could get himself a small cult based on them entirely :)
