Day in Reading

Had another fun day in Reading. Again, the main reason for being there was to see a film. this time round, the film was Matrix Reloaded. Along with myself, there was Silverwind, Budrick, Timon, Kurt and making a late arrival was Zee.

We did a bit of shopping, I got the Gorillaz "Phase One: Celebrity Take Down" Special Edition DVD from Fopp for a fiver (bargain!) but didn't buy anything else due to wanting to keep expenses down. When it came to lunch, again we were split. As far as I understood everyone was up for Nando's but Kurt wanted Pizza Hut. I really didn't want a Pizza Hut again as I didn't feel too well the day after I ate there last time and so went to Nando's anyway. Bud was the only one to join me as the rest went to Pizza Hut.

After eating, Bud and I went into the cinema to join the queue for the film while the others ate ice cream. Managed to get us quite a good row of seats considering how many people were waiting for the screen to open. It was good to see the film again as I got more from it the second time round. Apparantly it was Tim's second time too but he still had trouble understanding it all (aww bless ;).

Missed my train home by seconds due tot he idiot who gave me my ticket to the station didn't charge me for a return and so I had to buy another ticket. Used the time to have a pint with Bud in the local Irish pub before getting my train home. Got harassed by some drunk on the train who wanted to "borrow" my phone but was otherwise a pleasant journey (Really love the new virgin trains :).

I'll be at the London furry gathering next sat too. Will be my first in quite some time and hope to catch up with those I've not seen in ages. Should be quite a few people at this one.
