Lazy week

Other than the trip to hawx's, I've not been up to much this week. I have the week off but I've mostly been wasting it. I initially took the week off so I could get some of my coursework done as that is seriously lagging (I have no deadline but I need to get it done) but the heat has not helped in motivating me to do the work. Instead, I've been lounging around, playing the new Pokemon game (yeah I know it's sad but it's also oddly addictive) and enjoying the weather :)

Went to the dentists today as part of my twice yearly checkup. I was pleased to hear that all is well, if the left wisdom tooth causes pain, I should get it seen to but that's about it.

Nothing planned tomorrow either but I guess I should get some courseowrk done if it's not so hot I'm seating just by sitting down. Got a LAN party on Sat and may be seeing Pirates of the Caribbean on Sunday.

I'm really not looking forward to going back to work on Monday as I know there willb e a pile of work for me to do that's just been left as no-one else knows how to do it (this is why I have job security). Something I really dont want after a week off but rather inevitable. I've been searching and searching for work but still not had great success, had an agency guy ask if I wante dto apply for a job recently so I'm waiting on that and some others who are "reviewing my CV". Fingers crossed eh? :)

..Metroid Fusion has been killed off.. and I've done almost everything in all of my other games.

Well games that have eaten my time recently have been Wario Ware Inc, Advance Wars 2, Legend for Zelda, Pokemon Pinball 2 (Ruby & Sapphire) and Pokemon Sapphire.

Admittedly only half of those are actually out in this country which is why, I recommend that rather than buy any more games only to get bored with them 3 months down the line, get a flash cart! £100 one off and you play as many games as you like for free including games that will never be released here, games are are released elsewhere first (Europe usually has to wait up to 6 months before they get a game released in other terrortries and also home produced public domain games and utilities, making the money back in no time!

I'd recommend this one as it's currently the best on the market.
