Got a call from an agency yesterday saying that they received my application for a technical support job in Southampton and wanted to talk it over with me. However, my phone was on silent since going to the cinema on Sunday so I completely missed the call on my mobile and the 3 calls from O2 callback to notify me of the message. I only noticed when I was on the train home at 6pm that someone had tried to contact me.

I promptly called the number left on my phone but they had closed for the day so left a message. However, I called them again this morning around 8am so I could tell him to call around noon when I was free. However, I actually got through to the guy at that time and the job was still going. We spoke over the job and it sounds right up my street experience wise and they have a fantastic bonus and shift scheme to get extra cash.

The agency guy was happy that I would be a suitable applicant for the job and he'll be talking with the company and putting my CV through. He should be contacting me later today to say if I can get an interview. So as the subject says... *fingers crossed*

Good luck on that job search. I'm sorry for trying to vent my problems with you again today. It's how I tend to cope but I think I go too far. Have a good day at work.
