Time for an update

slycatI've been away for a while. Mostly because I've not had anything worth writing about. Thankfully, it's Friday evening again, no more work for two days which is always a good thing. As for my weekend plans, I intend to go to London and meet up with ![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
gerald_duck, hawx, timmypup, xendragon, ruination and more friends of Gerald's to attend this years Erotica Expo thingy. Should be fun I think. I may pop along to the meet depending on how long I stay at the expo but in the evening, we are all meeting up again for a meal in the Spaghetti House. Then I'll be off to Tim and Xen's place to kip over and pootle off home on Sunday.
This all sounds like a great plan but it seems something has been trying to foil my plans. I've slowly been getting stronger symptoms of a cold and am now in a state where I have a runny yet blocked nose, a sneeze and a sore throat. Regardless, I shall be pilled up tot he eyeballs with Lemsips and Beechams to ensure that my symptoms don't get in the way of a great weekend. If that wasn't bad enough, the screw fell out of my glasses at some stage which I only noticed when my left lense suddenly fell out without warning. No idea where the screw went but I was fortunately able to salvage a screw from some old glasses.
In other news, as requested by furs in the UKfur.net Fursuit forum, I have produced a UK equivilent of the FurBid site. You can see it at this address: http://www.fursuit.co.uk/auction. It's very basic right now considering I only put it up this evening. Frankly, I'm suprised it works but it indeed worked first time! I've localised it so it uses pounds rather than dollars and also asks for a county rather than a state. I'll probably have a go at tarting it up, adding graphics and stylesheets and the like to make it look a bit more fancy when I get the chance. In the mean time, buy my pie!
