slycatAs I mentioned the other day, I had put up an auctioning site for UK Furries at http://www.fursuit.co.uk/auction/ as a result of various discussions on the UKFur.Net Forums. It seems it's now picking up interest as there are now 6 registered users and 4 active auctions. Almiras Silverwolf provided the brilliant logo banner and also did me a pic (intended as an alternative for the auctions site) without me asking for help which was really nice. So I've now used the pic as one of my new LJ icons ^^
In related news, my DVD of The Lion King 2: Simba's Pride got a whopping £67 on eBay after one week. I was exceedingly happy with this as I really did not expect it to get anywhere further than £40! I guess this is the perfect time to sell it with Christmas coming, Lion King 1 just released on DVD and the new Lion King film in the new year. Is a shame it was a really bad follow up to a supurb film. I recently got my American Region 1 Collectors Edition of The Lion King DVD which I was very happy with. It comes with a posh looking book and a box full of prints of pencil drawings of the characters, signed by the artists. You can't get this version in the UK and it's limited in the US so I was very glad to get hold of a copy, and for only £18 too!
