More purchases

slycatThis time round, I've just bought myself a copy of Final Fantasy XI on import from America. The best price I could find online was £35.99 from ImportMadness.co.uk, the folks who I got Animal Crossing and Boktai from. It's a whopping £50 at CEX! I know I've been buying a lot recently but I came across this glowing review of the game today on Eurogamer. To be honest, I wasn't even aware it was released already but it looks like it'll be an absolute age for it to be released over here as it has to be European rather than just UK meaning they have to program it for all the languages of Europe (This is the same reason that Animal Crossing wont be coming out over here). It'll also be perfect to play during my time off work :)
I can kinda afford to spend a bit more this month cos due to the holiday I have taken, I am pushing the purchase of my next monthly train ticket forward into the next pay cheque giving me £300 extra this month to play with. As a result of this, it is looking that this year will be my most generous Christmas yet! I've got a large order on Amazon which is on it's way as well as some things from Play. Work collegues have called me a girl for getting presents this early but if I plan to do it via mail order, it's the best way. Dunno why, it's kinda odd but it's given me a good feeling from buying folks stuff. I guess it's just that I won't have to deal with the stress of getting presents at the last minute like I usually do.
In other news, it looks like my site www.fursuit.co.uk is down... First time it's happened since it got moved to the new server but it looks like it's taking my host some time to fix. As a result, the Auction site is down which is kinda embarrasing as it makes it look like it's unreliable. I hope they get the problem sorted soon. I noticed it was affecting Makali's lazycat.org as well as he's on the same server as I am.
