Hmm, not updated for a while.  Not much to be said really.  Had another rather boring weekend which high point was seeing Collateral Friday evening.  Also saw Code 46 on Sunday but my expectations of the film were not met.  I mean I like subtle films and everything but I found Code 46 too subtle for my liking.  Other than that, the weekend was spend wandering around shops and not buying anythign with my brother or doing a great deal of nothing.

Next weekend is the LondonFur meet.  I've said that I'll be going to a number of furs but then I remembered, I'm due to see a cinema screening of Raiders of the Lost Ark at 10.30am on the Saturday with my brother.  My bro won tickets to see a film of his choice from the 10 best films as voted by Diet Coke fans.  As Diet Coke drinkers are mostly women (or as the adverts would like us to believe), most of the films on offer were rubbish girly films.  The best of the crop was Pulp Fiction, Shawshank Redemption and Indy.  We thought it would be best to see Indy as we never got to see it in the cinema first time round.  The film is 2 hours which brings me to 12.30.  Assuming all goes to plan, I could be on the 12:47 to London and arrive around 14:30.  I've then got the rest of the afternoon to find people and do stuff before going home, at latest, 9.55pm.  Doesn't give me as much time as I'd like in London but it'd probably upset my brother if I pulled out of seeing the film with him.

Finally received my free copy of Ninja Gaiden today from Microsoft for subscribing to Xbox Live before the end of August. I was getting kinda concerned that they might not have sent me one. I've had a go and it's really neat the way the character does battle and has many cool ninja like manouvres. I expect to be playing this one more, shame it's so difficult. So thanks to [livejournal.com profile] sandroo for pointing out the offer, I've now got a top rated game which is still in the shops for £30+ for free :). Had a game of Midtown Madness 3 with Sandroo, Lomax, [livejournal.com profile] furyfox and [livejournal.com profile] utlah74 which was fun as I actually seem to be getting better now and have a chance of beating some of them. I also expect to be getting Burnout 3 this weekend (finally!) so that should be good to play with that lot online too (assuming EA have fixed their teething troubles with their Live servers). Burnout 3 was more or less the main reason I got myself an Xbox because they aren't releasing it on the GameCube. I played a bit of it at GameStarsLive and have read many reviews, watched many videos and have heard good things from friends who have it already. I just hope it lives up to my expectations, Burnout 2 will be hard to beat!

In other random news, [livejournal.com profile] omega256 (Murray Mouse) drew me!  I basically said it'd be nice to have a new graphic for my site www.fursuit.co.uk so I get more inspired to redo and update the thing.  I suggested a Sylvester clone (ie. SlyCat) putting on a fursuit.  He then said what critter I'd like for the fursuit.  I said he could choose and he chose it to be a raccoon...  Take a look at the results:

Revised coloured pic

The revised pic was drawn after I realised that it looked like the character had round mouse ears rather than pointy cats ears.  He also took the oppertunity to add white lines to the pic so the edges are more defined.  As the refined pic is somewhat rough, he's offered to draw me another so we can get it right.  I think it's really cute and it's very nice of Murray to not only draw it in the first place, but offer to redraw it.  He says I'll have to wait until he gets a new Bristol pad but I'm sure it'll be worth the wait.
