I just had the worst night's sleep in recent memory.  I went to bed around 11pm as I wanted to ensure I was ready for the working day but my body wasn't going to allow me that one simple thing.  Instead, I found myself tossing and turning (no crap jokes please) all night, waking up almost hourly or even more frequently than that.  I couldn't help thinking/worrying about "things" which is why I think I slept so badly.  I felt overly warm at times which kinda suggests I'm not well but I don't feel ill at all now.  I also had a weird nightmare about there being man eating tigers at the end of my bed or something.

Can't I just have one more day off?  Please?

I can definitely empathise, i didnt get to sleep for hours but when i did i had crazy dreams that i can't even remember now, i think they might have been quite good dreams though....heck that's what happens if you go to sleep clutching a chunk of obsidian crystal in your hand :P

It seems to be like you've been suffering from your work-related anxieties for a long time now. I used to be similar when I was working in the phone shop, and in hindsight I suspect it had a lot to do with how I got on with my workmates. Being the youngest one there didn't help matters, but I found it difficult to get on too well with any of them, considering the differences in interests and attitudes we had. As a result I was the whipping boy (as it were) for some time, until somebody weirder and more antisocial joined the place ;)

From what I remember, actually being at work was generally less harsh than I imagined just hours prior.

I don't think it's quite that bad, just a rather rough night. I appreciate your concern though :)

Ah, I think work did tell to take off some things but it created anxiety elsewhere. I feel like I'm a slave to paranoia there sometimes...

Too true. In an ideal world, everyday would be a paid holiday :P

Bah *envy*. Is it an extra day on top of us Englanders or do you not have another day somewhere else in the year which we have off?

I'd be quite disturbed if you shared the same dream as me! ;) Turns out my work collegue also had a restless sleep last night... maybe it's something going around.

Hmm, I guess it was brought on by a combination of things, but work would certainly have played a part in it. I expect tomorrow should be better.

I can never remember my dreams in detail anyway. I can only remember fragments. My bed was in my room but the end of my bed was outside, in a dark alley. And that's where the scary tigers were... oddness.

I couldn't sleep last night either, or the two nights before, no idea why, but it doesn't half make you feel crap!

Well, you can't all expect different dreams, you know.. there's a dream shortage on. It's the Kaiser's fault.
