I just had the worst night's sleep in recent memory.  I went to bed around 11pm as I wanted to ensure I was ready for the working day but my body wasn't going to allow me that one simple thing.  Instead, I found myself tossing and turning (no crap jokes please) all night, waking up almost hourly or even more frequently than that.  I couldn't help thinking/worrying about "things" which is why I think I slept so badly.  I felt overly warm at times which kinda suggests I'm not well but I don't feel ill at all now.  I also had a weird nightmare about there being man eating tigers at the end of my bed or something.

Can't I just have one more day off?  Please?

It seems to be like you've been suffering from your work-related anxieties for a long time now. I used to be similar when I was working in the phone shop, and in hindsight I suspect it had a lot to do with how I got on with my workmates. Being the youngest one there didn't help matters, but I found it difficult to get on too well with any of them, considering the differences in interests and attitudes we had. As a result I was the whipping boy (as it were) for some time, until somebody weirder and more antisocial joined the place ;)

From what I remember, actually being at work was generally less harsh than I imagined just hours prior.

Hmm, I guess it was brought on by a combination of things, but work would certainly have played a part in it. I expect tomorrow should be better.
