Wind!

It's rather windy all across the UK.  I was quite concerned to learn that the current wind speed, according to the BBC is 38mph, which, according to the Beaufort Scale, is on the border of Force 8! (Well, I guess it's not very strong, but it's certainly a struggle to walk against the wind at times)  It's supposed to be much worse up north...  I checked the trains and at the moment, trains are still running, no trees over, etc.  Fingers crossed I get to the LondonFur meet in once piece :)

I wouldn't want to be flying a turboprop today.. ^_^; (As pilot or passenger, for that matter. Though there was one time I flew from Medford to Arcata in such a contraption, with a fair wind blowing away.. almost a rollercoaster without tracks. Landed perfectly uneventfully, though - it's just that being right by the coast, it sees its fair share of Weather™)

And remember, if you do get blown away, just click your heels together three times.
