Sunday in London

So, went to London with my brother and Hybryd yesterday.  Most of the time was spent walking in the heat or having a nice cool beer but it was a good day.  I don't think I'll ever go back to The Dev myself considering how strict their dress code is (It was probably one of the few rare days that Hybryd wasn't wearing all black ;) ).  In contrast to The Dev, I really liked The Purple Turtle as it's more of a club than pub, with a live DJ and everything which was pretty cool.  Got myself some Wintergreen (Root beer / Germolene) flavour Altoids at CyberCandy amongst some other things.  Dunno why I like them, but I do :).

Finished the day by seeing Batman Begins at the BFI IMAX at Waterloo.  An absolutely supurb film and certainly my favourite of all the Batman movies done.  I hope they do a sequel with the same writers, actors and directors but I feel doubtful that'll happen.  It'll just get screwed with if they made a sequel.

Gah, due to the recent weather, I've not slept well.  It took a lot of effort to wake up this morning!  At least the coming storms predicted for today should make tonight more comfortable.

There's a Purple Turtle Bar in Reading as well. It tends to be one of the places I hand out if I got out in the town in the evenings.
