Wintergreen revelation
Oct. 25th, 2005 09:43 pmI've finally pinpointed that "Wintergreen mint" flavour that I've liked since I found it in the form of a flavour of Altoid in CyberCandy. I've been keen on it because I thought it tasted like Root Beer and when I've given it to friends, they thought it tasted like germolene. However, following a French translation on one of these Canadian packets of sweets, it's obvious what the taste actually is. It's simply menthol!
It's weird that if you give someone a flavour they've not heard of to make their own opinion on it, they say they don't like it as it's weird. Had I just told them it was menthol, they know what that is and are more likely to have liked it :)
