An update of sorts

slycatNot done a proper update for a while. At least I got my new graphics card on Tuesday and it has been working nicely. Can play Quake 4 and Battlefield 2 on maximum detail. It can't quite manage F.E.A.R. on max but it looks pretty enough with the options turned down :).
In other news, I've had my contacts for almost 2 weeks now and am really enjoying the freedom they provide. They can be a bit of hassle if out visiting friends however. I might look into getting daily lenses in the new year to fix that though.
Looks like I'm off to the 10th December LondonFur meet this weekend. Not been in a while but it is December. I absolutely detest London in December due to the sardine can trains and the crowds of people so thick you can't move... but I'm going to see various people. I've the following Monday and Tuesday off work too but have no plans on what to use them for at the moment.
As far as Christmas shopping goes, I've mostly not bothered. The sheer volume of people in shops is a right turnoff and I've not really got anything online either. Don't have a huge amount of cash as I need to save for spending money for my holiday next month. Doesn't help that I've been buying stuff for myself, like the aforementioned £150 graphics card and I finish payment for my fursuit this month.
Anyway, I'm at work and a colleague just arrived. Laters!
